Service terms

1in8b.me is a free browser life simulation. These terms describe this edition’s local saved records, exports, and available features.

Free features

No purchase, subscription, email unlock, or payment card is required. The available local keepsake features are included. There is no checkout or paid-pass refund process.

Simulated stories

Lives, characters, and events are fictional. Statistical data is simplified, may include estimates, and may become outdated. It does not predict a real person’s life or provide professional advice. The experience is intended for ages 15 and up and can include difficult themes.

Local features and responsible use

The simulation runs on your device. This edition has no shared public memorials, community posts, online houses, cloud syncing, or server transfer codes. If you share an exported story or image yourself, only share material you have the right to share and avoid real people’s private information. Do not overload the website or distribute malicious files.

Saved lives and availability

Saved records remain in the current browser profile and site address. Clearing site data, private browsing, browser storage limits, device loss, and technical failures can remove them. The operator cannot recover a local save without a backup you retained. Use the export tools to keep copies of records you value. The site does not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage.

Exports and third-party material

You remain responsible for material you choose to share. A download or export does not transfer ownership of the game, included fonts, or other third-party material. External websites have their own terms.

Privacy and support

See Privacy and saved data for how records are handled and Help for backups and recovery. General questions: contact@1in8b.me. Saved-life support: customerservice@1in8b.me.
